What will I expect on my first visit?
Your first visit will incorporate the initial assessment and treatment. A detailed history of your present condition and medical status will be taken, followed by a methodical and thorough clinical examination. The diagnosis of your presenting condition will be discussed and together your treatment plan will be established.
How long is the first visit?
Initial assessment and treatment will be 45min to 1hour.
What should I wear?
For neck, upper back and shoulder conditions a loose fitted top is required. For lower back, hip and leg conditions shorts are better. Generally, clothing that is loose and comfortable to perform movements is ideal.
How often will I require treatment?
The number of treatments you require is difficult to generalise because it will depend on the presenting condition and diagnosis. The earlier we treat your condition the better the outcome and speedy recovery. The average number of physiotherapy treatments for our clients is four.
How long are follow-up treatments?
Follow-up treatment sessions are 30min.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment by card, cheque or cash.
What facilities do you have?
We have 3 private treatment rooms a reception area and toilet facilities.
Are all staff qualified?
All our physiotherapists are registered with the UK Health Professions Council (HPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
Do you provide home visits?
Yes these can be arranged if you are unable to make it to the clinic.
Do I need a doctors referral?
No.
Does my health insurance cover me?
We are covered by most major health insurers. Please check with your individual supplier before treatment.
